2 weeks.. FUCK, 2 weeks and i'm home. i'm so proud of what ive managed to accomplish thus far, could have done better, but meh. i'm happy. there's much for me to pack and settle.

christmas and shopping lists are still on its way.

oh and just so that my grandkids are still updated about my rocking melbourne life, your grandma here, got her box of shoes and bags (yes, ALL THAT SHE OWNS IN AUSTRALIA) thrown into the rubbish truck crusher. i was fully and utterly depressed for 2 whole days. claim is on its way, though the chances are

mighty slim, so ive been told.

like joel said, i think i've learnt to make my heart steel to goodbyes. ive not cried one tear since everyone left. oh no, dont say it just yet....... my turn, will come. and by god i hope there's that one hot guy in the plane home to wipe my sordid tears for me.

thoughts, thoughts running through my mind....

it is weird how 6 months ago, i couldn't wait for winter to arrive, and now.. the heat of summer has started to take over, i wish i was still back in July. The heat is surprisingly bearable these past few days, considering the cool breeze that has been sweeping Melbourne at night. it's been nice.

one sad imminent fact I have to face though, I'm coming back home in a month. the saying, "omg! how time flies!!" never gets old. With heaps of activities, work, roadtrips I'll be doing, I KNOW the month will zoom by.. aaaand... I'm not liking it one bit.

I'm pretty much cherishing my last days with the boys and Sus and Georgie before we all head our separate ways. god knows how much I'll miss them and they've all already plan to crash my wedding (which has yet to be determined considering the future husband hasn't shown himself to me, duh) with copious amounts of alcohol. HAHA. gawd I love these kids!!

Nikh has left for India. Fids is on the plane to Los Angeles as we speak. Marian's leaving for Malaysia this Friday. Miro is heading to South Africa for volunteer work next week.

and me??? my plans are all coming through, insyaAllah. but thank god I won't be left in college alone for the summer.. so yeay Joel =)) you and I are gonna blow each other's brains out, I KNOW IT!

i miss being on top of the game.

i'm having one of those days where motivational speeches would probably kick me in the butt. 2 days till my final uni exam ever. excited? yes.. nervous? definitely.

mum keeps telling me how much she can't wait for me to be home again. so do I. I have a feeling that she and I will come to an understanding that I want more now. more than ever to see what the other side of the world has to offer, my thirst and hunger for travelling and knowledge and power.

6 weeks, till I see good ol' Singapore. wait till I say.. "aaaaahhh.. it's good to be home."

however, for now.. once Friday morning has passed, I shall shove away the books and with so much to look forward to, I would definitely hate to see the 26th of Dec roll by.

hokay. i've been wanting to write proper for quite some time now and right now, my situation has finally warrant it.

I HANDED IN MY LAST FREAKING UNI ESSAY!!!!!!!!

ok, so i screamed, i danced a jiggy and i literally fell over my bed. i pulled a massive all-nighter for this one (it's my law paper. dammit).. and now what worries me are getting all my results back for all the assignments.. life's tough.

not the point i wanted to make, really.

point is, i filled out my "notice to vacate" my college room form. saddest form i've ever had to fill up. it's finally sunken into me that i'll be home soon. cait is leaving this saturday and she's packed all her luggages, sent it off to sydney. Em is leaving a day after her. and the rest will soon follow.

good news is im moving in with Joel, so yeay! much has been planned for december. with schoolies and weekend trips.

thing is, they havent called me for work for nearly a whole month now, and im LITERALLY DYING OF BOREDOM. apart from the fact that ive been watching so much tv, my eyeballs are gonna stick out somewhere!

mum's being a real lifesaver at the moment.

i think i shall explore Melbourne city for the last time when ill be by myself, doing the whole self-exploration thingy.

my only exam paper is on the 20th, so that gives me plenty of time. it'll not be long till I have to start packing again.

anyways, nursing ball next friday with Rhi and Kels.. exciting!

so i'm left with a couple of months here. I can't even begin to describe the sudden sadness that has started to sweep my mind. By the end of Nov, everyone will say their goodbyes, and i'll be here for awhile longer, by choice, to reminisce a little about this country i've grown very much in and learnt to love it like my own. I'm sure many who have been in my shoes before have probably felt the same way as I did.

Love, Life, Happiness, Laughters... my family here has basically taught me THAT MUCH.

my cousins have started to ask me if i'm excited to be heading back home. How ironic that a year ago, they asked me if I was excited to be coming here. As selfish as this may sound, not yet. But responsibilities at home are waiting. Not that i'm being ignorant about it, i'll just leave it be for now. I havent seen it ALL yet. not just yet.

Hobart was one for the books. I never realized that I could learn to love people as friends in the shortest amount of time. We met the funniest guys at the backpackers, who treated us like queens for the week.. long story for another time, really. Cait & I definitely had the most amazing time together (obviously, we were irresistably charming!). And much can be said about my Canadian friend, you are definitely one of the funniest people i've come across, in my life, and you have become someone very dear to me. This is for you Caity boo boo, boo boo boo...

I love you baby girl and may we stay in touch for the longest time ever. Have your fun in New Zealand and i'll definitely miss you so... xoxo.. your noodlepoodles =)

i just spent my entire monday churning out 2000 words that has some relations to spina bifida. monday blues much??? and my poor brother just stayed in the room, engulfed himself in movies while he waited patiently for me. sigh, sorry lah dik. but think about it, SYDNEY TOMORROW BABY! like others, i cant wait to see opera and the bridge from the ferry wharf again. i miss it please.

and since fb is refusing to upload my photos, first weekend with adik here has been fantastic. it's really just nice to have him around to piss the shit out of me again. i can say this again, feels like home =)

what is the best thing about my home nursing job now??

a) it's nice to be able to practice some basic skills again

b) i've been travelling ALL OVER melbourne, seriously (to the point that when i drive to work, I know the roads at the back of my hand!)

c) when i enter a client's house, I feel like there's so much history in it and being the inquisitive person that I am (well, a politer way of saying that i'm a busybody), i see how they were when they were younger, their achievements and their families.. it's interesting

d) i go with them to their hairdresser's appointment, have tea and chocolate macaroons with them and pick flowers by the road (because the elderly has a freedom of choice here and they're just so independent!)

e) though I feel EXTREMELY exhausted, i kinda of like it. opens my eyes to a whole lot of a different expect of nursing

so simply put, I'm glad i landed this gig and it's nice to earn my own dough again.

I need a massive long sleep. It's been awhile since i get to get up past 8am! so yes, I'm shit-ass tired now so goodnight lovelies.

Mid-Sem break has started!!! and as usual, the boys and Georgia have all gone back home. Cait left for the Gold Coast this morning (bitch) and Chris left for Newcastle (bigger bitch). omg i already miss them! Thank god for Sus and her 2 week break from placement.

Have I ever mentioned just what an angel my dear Sus is? i think not. i love this woman for trusting me with her car, for letting me drive to work in the morning & for not being afraid to try my weird dishes. We've always had amazing adventures together & of course, the first country out of Aussie she wants to visit is our tiny island. I feel very honoured thank you. She wants to wear our baju kurung, go figure!

so yes, I was supposed to head out to Blanket Bay this week for a camping trip with the boys but the weather's been utter misery. i know Victoria needs rain, but chill on the 100km/hr winds??? if only im 30kg lighter, i'd be floating somewhere down the Murray River i tell you. so yes, that camping trip shall remain undecided for now.

on another entire different agenda, Simon Black gave me an 18 day extension. SERIOUSLY? that arse is mad.. buuuuuttt, i'll take it. 4 more essays and I'm over it!

2 weeks...

Adik will finally be in the same city as I am! as you can tell, i am VERY much excited. It also means more exploration of dear Victoria and what-has-she. I was asking him what he would like to do when he gets here and by the sounds of it, we're gonna conquer it all! woot woot!!

(p.s: boy, please bring your cold wear thank you. like i said, Melbourne weather is the MOST unpredictable thing one can only experience & imagine).

speaking of exploring, guess where i went to last weekend..

the Great Alpine Road baby! yeah.. it was very much beautiful & breath-taking views all the way. I've always been contented with the Sony Cybershot that i own but just for that moment, I truly wished i had a better camera on me. But all was good. What I got to see was pretty much embedded in my memory as soon as i saw all those gorgeous alps. I was once told that the best camera was our eyes =) As much as it was fun road tripping with the girls, i wished people i loved back home got to see what God has allowed me to see of His creations.

these were pretty much what I saw all 1000km worth. I'm starting to wonder if I'll be able to do this when i get back home. Road trips, camping, the shenanigans...

BUT, enough dwelling cause essays are due right about now and I'll be on another holiday soon enough. oh you know me, never enough! =D

so i told myself not to cry today. but i did.

called mum from Safeway to ask her about ingredients and from no-where i started tearing. seriously, i thought i could do the whole "raya away from home" shit, but i guess not. what i really miss about today would be waking up to Ibu's screamings, telling us to get ready to visit the first house as Nyai is at Aman Dos's place. the traditional 'minta maaf' to everyone in the family and of course, stuffing myself with glorious food and the many arrays of cookies and cakes. i miss this.

called Dad when i got back home and I started to cry again. I never had to minta maaf over the phone ever and I could hear Dad starting to well-up just from his voice but all he said was "it's ok. Ayah doakan hari-hari semoga kakak selamat selalu. Jaga diri baik-baik, lagi 2 bulan kita jumpa ok?"

and what did dear Mum say? "Ibu dah maafkan kakak dari dulu & selalu memaafkan."

as I am typing this, i am still crying over the fact that the whole first day of raya has gone and past without me being in the presence of family and relatives.

you can say it's an experience all right and I did it. thank you to my beloved Marian and Mirosha who are always there to celebrate and acknowledge these little things from home and enjoy it with me. what would i ever do without them here? i dont know.

oh, and i've been listening to raya songs on REPEAT for the past week. i miss home, i really do =(

for one, i finally got called for a job and i like my client. i now know how i wish and hope my future household will look like =)

for two, my baby brother liam had a reality check and though i really didnt want to be the bearer of bad news, i'm glad i told him. you'll be alright, toto-san.

everything's looking up and i should be glad. im taking it a day at a time now and it's been awhile since i went out shopping and shits. sigh, i really do miss DFO. really.

cait is dragging me to NZ and Fiji. am seriously thinking about it. will definitely fill up my december! i love that woman, (when she's not high OR drunk).

i should really get some inspiration to write but the fact that my floormates are all running emotional support groups right now is just hilarious.

why that's happening you say?

well typically, you will never EVER see Sammy cry, oh, but he did. not after he got wasted and then the topic of the Victorian fires suddenly came about. trust me, its not even funny one bit. my poor Sammy. he compartmentalises his feelings so much that the moment he let it out, it took me 3 hours just to rock him back to sleep. now, that's a story ill tell my grandkids.. "ahhh.. i remember the time when your grandpa Sam cried a freaking river......."

but he's all good now and i miss him cause he's gone back to Shepp. not before he surprised me by lending his big-ass monitor for the weekend. a 'Happy Birthday (for the weekend) =)' note was what he left me. seriously, how can i not love him??? speaking of love, that boy has the licence to pillion now and we're both gonna ride out somewhere far, just far far away from here.. i miss looking at mountains and plains and long unwinding roads.

well, apart from Sammy, Liam's another story. but despite all that's happening to him right now, he was there, when i cried at 1 in the morning, for god knows WHAT reason (ok, i knew the reason but im choosing not to remember it, kapish?) and he just held me for an hour while my tears wet his shirt incessantly. and all that boy did was put japanese anime on his xbox and we both fell asleep like a baby. i love this boy too.

now, how can i forget Chris... oh my Chrissy (yeap, as gay as that may sound, im allowed to call him that). he just saw me lying on my dead, looking depressed as and he thought i was suicidal or something. same afternoon, he surprised me with a big ass box of LINDT chocolates. ok, if you dont already know, LINDT chocolates are some freaking expensive shits. but oh soooo damn good. What comes as a shock to me though is that Chris has always acted like a dickhead and an arsehole to everyone but he pulls out this one gesture, and i promised i wont call him a dickhead for a month. haha.. i love this kiddo too too..

gee.. and i just typed in 4 paragraphs about my boys when they try to make my life here a living hell everyday making fun of whatever i do. sigh.. love runs deep around here, i tell you.

but most importantly, ive gotten over it. its time for a new fish. yeap, as Jason says it, "many many fish in the sea my sister from a different mother!". hoho...

i have much to look forward to these couple of months. it makes Ramadhan move just a little faster for me =)

i'm tres tired.

one good thing that came out of this week was my last uni lecture yesterday. school is over for me kids and all i have to worry about now are my online studies/tutes and whatever annoying assignments i have left due later.

as far as emotional rollercoasters go, i've pretty much felt happy, envious, sad, angry, disappointed, heartbroken all in a week's span. oh le sigh.. what am I gonna do with my life??

i can start penning down everything from the very beginning but i guess i'd rather not. it's too sad for me to even think about it.

and so, since i hate being all mushy and emotional (contradicting much?!), happier events!!

let me tell you a little bit about that girl up there. i love her, love her to death. one of the funniest, wittiest person i've ever met. we share clothes like there's no tomorrow (we go by the motto: "what's yours is mine honey!") and she's just amazing like that.

let's just say the groom couldnt even remember getting married and thank god i wasnt Sammy's bride =p

on another note, i went for 2 job interviews last Thursday and i'm just hoping i get either one. mummy and daddy seemed pretty happy that i got the interview so i'm definitely taking it as a good sign. though i know mum wants me to come home when it's time.

gee.. i guess that's enough angst for the minute. i've much to update about my awesome little world. i've realised that there's much more to seek out there and the more i peek through, the greedier i get. to the point where i've started my very own "pros & cons" list (its a bad habit once you get started).

on another note, nothing beats skype-ing the Khair clan on National Day.. (oh yes, i watched the parade online for the first time in my life please.. felt slightly patriotic!)

t'was pretty damn good to see the grandma, the uncles, the aunts and esp my baby cousins all fighting to be seen by me on the webcam. truly made my week apart from staying over at Miro's mum's crib in the city (another story for another day)! i realised how much I really miss them. but the funniest shit has got to be when my uncles tried monopolising me, trying to shove rendang and lemak into the camera. (chet! your niece can cook a feast now please! sungguh-tak-heran.com) =p

however, the minion i was really looking forward to see did not make it and ive yet to see him squiggling LIVE! bik kesy, you hear that? you owe me another skype date with my baby cousin, little Jawwaad =)

so 2 and a half weeks of school left, with 7 essays screaming simultaneously at me. i'm seriously trying to catch my breath with the on-line discussion we have to read through everyday and lectures i can't seem to comprehend for the life of me!

so it's been awhile. holidays are over and the new Semester started today. oh the number of stories i just wanna share and tell keep piling the mountains! hold your horses, i'll get there.

first thing's first, what's new you ask?

i've got a new neighbour. Shaun moved out to another tower without even telling us so imagine the shock i got the night i came back from Sydney to see some hot Canadian chic pop out from the door. i was like "HELLO!" - i better NOT turn gay for this girl cause i freaking LOVE HER. yes, she's quite amazing that Caitlin girl. i'm just happy it's not another sloppy joe. hoho... and of course, say hello to swapping of clothes and coats and yada yada.. iLike!

i never got the chance to rest after Sydney cause the crazy kids and I decided that winter camping is fun and driving for 4 hours after just 5 hours of sleep while still suffering from jetlag was MADNESS!!! but seriously, I had a bloody blast of a time of course and the mountains kind of blew my troubles away (trying to do some poetic justice here please.)

a certain boy confused me and here we both are right now in this place where the gray zone exists and we're both happy with the decision. trust me boy, i am NOT angry with you, just that i deserved better you know??? we're in a better place now than we'll ever be. just stay away from the "devil's bed" ok? *inside joke* hoho...

my new units are pretty major i must say. with only 1 exam at the end of Sem, i am definitely NOT looking forward to the heaps of assignments i have to write. words, words and more words.. makes me wonder why i ddnt just go for journalism from way back when. mehhhh....

so what else is damn happening in my life??

ohh yes.. how can i forget the new exchange students in Chiz.. i was like "HELLOOOOOOOO HOT-BLOODED YOUNG MALE THINGIES!" and as usual, Sus and I have started to compare notes on who's hot and who's not. oh we're only young once, kids! trust cait and georgia to have their eyes on them too.. BITCHYYYYYYYYYY.....

basically, i am in a happy place right now and i don't wanna think about the 26th of December when i finally have to leave all this behind for good and hop back on reality train. i really don't. it depresses me even more to know that the people i've met here all hold a special place in my heart and that i'm gonna have to leave them in about 5 months. dammit, none of this right now eh.

speaking of joyful times, the bro is coming to visit come Oct 10th. very egg-citing times i can tell you.. cause i miss that kid. i miss the times he bullies me out of nothing and such.

i'm still recuperating from the holiday with the parentals since a few days back.. don't get me wrong, i had HEAPS of fun exploring more of victoria.. and of course seeing mum and dad after so long was simply nice.... felt like i was in my comfort zone again.

so much happened during the whole trip that i already forgot half of what i was going to say.. oh screw this! long story short, took a helicopter ride across Great Ocean Road and im still at awe with my bird's eye view (definitely helped that the heli assistant was hot as hell!!!!).. god knows His stuff i tell you.. (thank You), felt real snow pelting down my face, showed mum the best of the city.. laughed till our jaws drop at uncle Jo and dad's funny faces in all the pictures and plenty more..

now there's 6 days in Sydney next week from monday and our Gippsland camping trip the day after. busy and sexcited much??? HECK YEAH!

out of the 1000 plus odd pictures we took, here's my top 20 of the lot. oh please, am already in the process of sending the printed photos to mum via registered post. (she loves the cheap shit that can be found here, go figure!!!)

thank you mum and dad for the best melbourne holiday ever. really =)) i already miss you both and you'll get your daughter back day after christmas, promise!

parents are coming this wednesday and please, one cant be as sexcited as i am right now. i miss my mum alright? not so much my dad but shush... Mr Haron dsnt need to know that =p PLUS, this also means moooooore shopping for nonsensical nonsense with mum around.. heeeee!! did i mention ill be skiing next saturday?? anihoooos, apart from 6 days with the parentals and aunts in the city, i'll be heading south t0 Bridgett's in Geelong and east to Georgia's in Bright sometime in the middle before heading up to Sydney for a week with Susan. day after will be our Gippsland camping trip (yes, i know what you're thinking, camping in winter, PANDAAAAAAAIII!!!) but i call dibs on the backseat of the car thank you! and after ALL is over, i cannot wait for re-O week to begin...

there's only Sam and I left on the floor with the kids already headed home on friday.. so we both decided to have that 36 hours Bond, James Bond marathon we've put on hold for the longest-ass time and since we only have each other now (drama-mama or whaaaat!) starting with Dr. No. talk about classic. and no, we have not even started on Bond no. 2 yet.. haha.. dont ask!

oh hello minions... it's been awhile and i must say, in the midst of all the very happening things around me, everything else has been mundane and pretty much the same.

the whole college's on 24 hour noise curfew (haha. the perks of residence) and exams are in process. yesterday's paper was a love-hate affair for me. got a call from mum at 8am wishing me luck and i probably broke her heart when i told her about the aftermath of it. ok, im repulsed by my lack of enthusiasm for this subject, so am not gonna talk about this anymore. ive already done what i could.

2 more to go and i smell FREEDOM!!! there's just so much to look forward to come July. but i shall not jinx it all by getting all eggcited now. concentration is key. and no, i havent learnt to stop jibbering so much. its a trait i tell you.

funny story... ever since mum knows how to use skype (more of scream at my idiotic brother to answer my videocall), we have been webcamming each other for an average of an hour a day.. and i can see how much shes trying not to well up in tears. Of masks and DRALIONS...

i have lost the ability to keep my eyes wide open! seriously! and P.S: this was my favourite mask which cost more than a 100 kemoolahs and totally reminded me of the masquerade ball from season 1 of GG.

this was every dollar well spent and well worth it! i was basically in awe for the whole 2 hours... gawking like ive never gawked before and almost choked on my popcorns laughing at the clowns.. my favourite acts??? the trampoline and aerial pas de deux... they were just simply beautiful and breathtaking.. i am definitely a big fan of cirque now, VERY!

so back to reality.. had my 1st and last presentation this morning and we were FANTAS-TUBULOUS!!! i like it, i like it alot =))) all that hard work actually freaking paid off. woo-freaking-hoo! and the marks we got was SO well worth the shit.

2 down, many many more to go... and Liam just popped by into my room after drinking like a million beers (alcohol much?!), very drunk but still coherent.. that boy made a wager with me that he's gonna wake up at 8am IN THE MORNING to go for a run... and he's gonna knock on my door just to spite me cause i told him he'll NEVER be able to wake up. oh trust me, he's not a morning person these days and i highly doubt he's even gonna make it for his 10am class... jeez brother...

so Easter cum Mid-sem break has finally come to an end. in a week and a half, i never knew i could have so many feelings run through me in so many weird, confusing and comforting ways...

the train ride to Ararat was an eye opener for me to say the least. i think i amused Sus and Tim quite abit when i saw vast open spaces with four-legged animals grazing the dry land all over. (you can't blame a city girl, can you??) Donald Town was something new to me... and i did manage to catch up on a little Aussie history, so Sus likes to call it =)

Saturday was the big water-skiing event where i got butt-massaged and the knee board hitting the back of my skull like a sonafabiaaatch... did i try the water-skiing skates then? HELL NO! you'll see me in my grave if i really did. seriously. i am already accident prone, what do you want from me???

and Sunday was Races in Stawell.. now, if i was a lesbian.. this could have turned out 3 notches more interesting..oh yes, the ladies were dressed up so classy and uptown-ish that i almost boggled my eyes out. and dammit i looked like i came out of a sports magazine looking very out of place. hoho! nonetheless, it was worth every minute watching them strutt their stuff screaming out at jockeys to go faster!

Monday was pretty much when i actually remembered Sally's 25th birthday. oh yes, shoot me PLEASE! i freaking forgot. i hope she dsnt axe when i get back or something. sorry sally sorry sally sorry sally!!!!

finally Tuesday was Home Sweet Chisholm and never have i missed the boys so much that the moment i saw them, i teared (tears of joy can?!) i mean who else can stand my crap, annoy me and still wrestle me to death with their smelly feet???

alright, ive spoken too much.. i am actually seriously tired as heck.. weird sleeping patterns are catching up to me and i've spent 5 hours on this when i should be referencing my freaking essay. haha!

ill blog something about my easter weekend at Susan's soon-ish (really). Speaking of slacking around during mid-term breaks.. i've been catching up on heck of alot of TV. gossip girl being my current obsession for now. Susan and I just completed a marathon of The Mighty Ducks. i know, i know, we still enjoy lame kids comedy.. but hey when you pair a good movie with heaps of easter bunny chocolates.. your butt just stick to the chair and refuse to move thyself!

i received more bad news from mum today. apparently, a childhood neighbour has passed away due to high fever and he was my brother's age. (ok, im getting the creeps.)

i guess i can always count on mum to give me updates about homeground.. and i cannot wait till she arrives here with dad come july. i have definitely made plans =))

i want to badly complete my assignments and be over and done with it but somehow, i just keep thinking about things that don't actually matter alot. seriously, no matter what i do.. my train of thoughts will helplessly land THERE!!

ohmegaaaawd!!! the bruises and cuts on all parts of my body seems to multiply in insignificantly large numbers! i blame it all on cooking and my wrestling matches with chris and sam -_-.. they wont bloody leave me alone! not that i don't enjoy it but that's how i get all my fun, yes?? so the wrestling match continues....

in about 15 hours, ill be leaving on a train to Donald/Horsham back to Susan's place. i am sexcited as hell! the need to get out of Uni and everything about it just rings too many bells in my head. apparently Sus's mum has prepared a feast (seafood!!!) for us for Easter weekend =))) getting away from assignments and its looming deadlines for awhile should do me good. i need a break! hoho.

pathology test on tuesday was Murder in the first degree. sheesh. how tricky can MCQs be??? hopefully, my ee-ni-me-ni-my-ne-mo pulls through! (haha, ok just kidding. i DID study =P) first test done, a gabazillion more to go.. yikes!

so amidst all the wreck and havoc, parties after events have been going on as usual (they just love to do it in the middle of the week i really don't know why!) Sus and I like to take the back seat and enjoy the AFTERMATH of these parties and whatnots. cause trust me, its FUNNER to be sober and see the shit those kids do =)) and so it happens that we both get the corner rooms where we hear EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING. oh the hypotheses and theories we come up with.. it's pure gold =)

I should really start packing now and why in the world am i not sleepy?!?! i need gossip girl!!!

Procrastination is very much becoming my best friend these days. i swear there's just TOO MUCH to do, yet so little time. laundry, cleaning my room (i'm starting to scare myself on how tidy i'm becoming), cooking etc etc.. oh i do try (or actually attempt) to get my shit together i.e being my ever-mounting assignments OR at least get started on something! but.. i don't know... for the past few days, i keep thinking about mum alot. maybe because i miss her food, or just cuddling with her in bed, i don't know.

i'm not missing home much, just that school's a little overwhelming at this point and the 4 effing-heavy units i'm taking on isn't helping one tiny bit! others get three years, i got 9 mths to pull this degree out of my brain, i get that. i wanted this in the freaking first place, remember?! seriously.

cooking is probably the only thing that's keeping me sane about now. it's therapeutic, i found out. no wonder mum loves the kitchen, i get that now =) that sense of satisfaction flashes through me whenever i get Sus, marian or miro to try my dishes and they go "hmmmmm..... this is niiiiice!!"
see! i can concoct something UN-poisonous afterall.. who would have thought?? hoho..

there is one thing i'm looking forward to though, which is the trip back to Werribe for Easter hols where Sus lives.. aaahh.. roadtrip to a nice big farm.. just the thought of it makes me all psyched to get assignments and revision over and done with. hah! suck that Health Assessment!!!!

so what other mischieves have I been up to?? nothing much... there was STRIP UNO last saturday (for the whole day till 5am the next morning till everyone almost passed out from excessive drinking and fun!) Sam and I swapped our crappy new microwave with C floor's uber cool digital one at 12 midnight (ok, we actually took it without consent which pretty much sums up to stealing but we don't care =D) hey! georgia had the master, sooo.... haha...

fun fact of the day: watching Sam, Liam and Chris strip to their VERY LAST briefs (mind you, Sam wore TEN underwears. jeez!!!) and lesson learnt, wear extra extra bras for me... urgh.. bad memories.. *shudder*

so here's the joke of the century and it almost got me killed by Liam (ho! ho!)

i wanted to microwave my tuscan potatoes right.. but it never crossed my mind that the container was PLASTIC and i set the timer for 15 MINUTES! i know i know you must be thinking "eh STOOOPID! PLASTIC CONTAINER OI!!!"

anihoos, guess what!? at about the 7th minute, Shaun came rushing into my rm asking me whether i was cooking potatoes and i saw black smoke coming from the kitchen! seriously, it wasn't the least bit funny at that point of time cause the fire alarm could bloody ring!! and then the fucking fire brigade will come (NOT FUNNY CAUSE OF THE BUSHFIRES CAN?!) and i'd have to fucking pay $1800 for the fire brigades. gawd BODOH!

so long story short, the microwave exploded because of ME. you should have seen Liam's face when i told him what i did. HAHA... he was all "NOODLES! YOU ARE NEVER COOKING POTATOES EVER AGAIN. IF YOU WANT POTATOES, CALL ME AND I'M COOKING IT FOR YOU! AND NO MORE MICROWAVE! CALL MEEEE!!!"

i can't help but just laugh. making Liam angry is funny! his antics and cuteness makes my day all the time. and Sam never helps in matters. he loves adding salt to the wound. speaking of which, i almost fell chasing him out of the floor -_-

and he being the new hero in my life, set up my all-brand-new-just-bought-off-ebay LASERJET PRINTER (yeaaaaaaaahaaaaaa babyyyy!!!!) for me =) all i had to do was carry that damn printer from the admin office and he saw me from the pool table downstairs, so automatically he came to help! i love how gentlemanly my floor aussieboys are. seriously! uhuh uhuh...

i just came back from some crazy college party and i feel really knackered but i wanna get some update done, so yeah.. shush you guys! seriouslY! i feel my legs go all wobbly now after all that crazy dancing and shits. oh yeah baby... i bloody danced. uhuh uhuh...

the moment i landed in melbourne, alhamdulillah everything went absolutely smoothly. (ooo.. i like the sound of that! haha) but since it was a saturday and everywhere's ghost town, i felt alone for a little while with no internet and only 4 luggages to unpack!

ok fun redundant fact: it took me a whole damn week to pack and i only took about ONE HOUR to unpack. (i was like "shit man! ill have to do this again in december. urgh!")

i'm meeting new faces everyday, everywhere and anywhere! and all of them are truly fantastic!
i can walk down Chisholm (where i'm staying now) and someone will go "hello there mate! how you doing today?? have a nice day right!!!!"

and ill seriously be beaming like an idiot to myself thinking... what a good day it's gonna be, and it really was. i've made some really awesome friends. i never knew there were people with crazy personalities like me here, and boy was i happy as shit! my floormates are too cool to be put into words. and so far, there's no double nationalities on my floor and im lovin' it!

mum has been calling daily and constantly which is something i look forward to every night cause i really miss her voice (minus the naggings, DUH!) but she keeps me focused on what i came here to do. which keeps me grounded definitely. have i mentioned i really miss her tonnes? yeah i do.

holy smokes!!! in about 24 hours i'm leaving on that jet plane..

i think all the nerves that ive accumulated thusfar is coming to haunt me. everyone, and i mean EVERYONE has been asking me..

my mum was literally red-eyed this past 4 days. and my brother... i know im gonna miss him alot. now who in the world can i fist fight with in the middle of the night?! (oooh... i think this is where the future angmoh that im gonna meet may come in handy! ho ho) and lastly my dad.... my old man... ill NOT miss his temperaments thats for sure. but ill just miss his presence.

oh my.... i feel like im gonna pee myself in the pants everytime i think about how excited i am about living in melbourne on my own... but like they say.. experience is one of the keys to success... and dammit, i am SO heading in that direction...

oi there mate!

i am in the midst of packing all my stuff and let me tell you, it's a real feat! i almost got drowned by ALL the clothes and winter stuff (yeah like that'll matter cause havent you heard, MELBOURNE'S ON HEATSTROKE MODE! fantabulous -_-) and plus the cooking things mummy has yet to stuff in my luggage (ha.ha)!!

well, aside from all the packing drama.. leaving the ward felt pretty elevating. not to mention that i hoped i left with a little bit of pride or whatever's left of it. after all the shit i went through, ive got to admit, i grew up in that ward. as shitty as my working days may seem, i gained good friends there. i learnt about trust. i learnt that life is not as easy-going as i deemed it to be. i learnt that entangled politics was a way of life. did i mention i found really great friends in that hell-hole? yeah i did. that's one thing i'll take with me. my fond memories.

speaking of which.. much has happened. hangouts with friends (old and current). relatives coming over giving me their prayers and well-wishes. and of course, packing seems to be an everyday affair. holy crap!

yes i'll miss them from time to time. i really will (i'm a sucker for going down nostalgia lane, trust me)

it was their treat from straits kitchen (thank you loves!) and let me add another scarf to my collection (hello! havent they been watching the bloody news?? heatwave people, HEATWAAAVE!!)

p.s: ah B, have a superb trip to bangkok.. and please go do some serious shopping and don't forget to scout for new medical equipments man!

i can actually really cry looking at this. not only is it darn difficult for ALL of us to meet up together (keyword being TOGETHER which means the complete fab5).. oh well.. i can't say enough. i will seriously miss them through and through. ok crybaby, stop it now.

and so after almost a whole decade... i met up with my good ol' friend/classmate cornelius.. facebook's a pretty darn wonderful thing. and down we went nostalgia lane. it doesn't get old. and somehow in the middle of it all.. i pictured us having the same exact conversation but back as the 12 year olds we both knew. it was a great dinner corn... really. we shall catch up with the other 36 lost sheeps when i get back, yes??? now.. how about getting farty lennard to organise it eh? (HAHA!)

What comes after the Blues...

i don't think i ever wanted a whole week to pass and remain as it is all at the same time...
is it too much to ask for too much?? the sadness is definitely kicking in at full speed. it's the ideation of parting i tell you.
as i pack clothes after clothes, i keep imagining my soon-to-be coolest adventure and ride of my life.. i used to be scared to even leave home at night.. but boy have i grown up (i hope and i think i have) ive come a LONG way and i'm proud to have accomplished what i've done thusfar.

i have more to look forward in life. new environment, new friends, new everything.

there's still some things left unconfirmed, and it's giving me the jitters... you can call it, pre-departure jitters if you'd like. i don't really like this feeling of not knowing, uncertainties.. (well, who does??) i have every mind to march up to them big people asking "hey! so what's happening eh?" but i feel like i have no balls can?!

anihoos, lighter note ahead. i am partially prepared.... the state my room is in now is incomprehensible *shakes head* everything's literally EVERYWHERE!! mum is really helping me alot. in more ways than one actually, though she really need not to, but then again, i'm glad she is.. what would i ever do without her?? ok stop. i know i'll cry my balls out when the day comes. jeez. SO NOT HELPING!!

and while i make those necessary last minute changes, all i've been doing lately is just enjoying my world and it's surroundings. past few days, i've met some pretty interesting people.. characters of my world i like to call them.. i've been known to stop and stare (hahah!)

a couple more days of work. can't believe i'm saying this but i'll really miss that hectic environment.. eh! who am i kidding?!?! i am SO smelling that freedom already. HAAAH!!

these two.....

..practically IGNORED me for a whole week, made me an idiot on my birthday looking out for their smses on my phone and checking out FB and msn constantly for any form of communication. there i was thinking to myself, "so much for being BFFs -_-"

but little did i know... they had a surprise up their sleeves.. (hehehehehhe)

they're getting REALLLY good at this surprise thing.. haha.. after a crappy day at work, i could not be ANY happier to see their faces in front of the ward. fyi, they got superb satisfaction embarrassing me in public, seriously!

i had a blast that day.. what with the constant surprises, annoyingly embarrassing moments, wind blowing in our hair, and laughing our big butts off at almost everything.. thank you loves soooo soooo much. this makes it tougher for me to go, you know????

i'm loving being 22... its a nice number. i'm wishing for simple, fun days ahead of me. i have a feeling.. i'm gonna be alright =))

p.s: who would have thought, all my girlfriends had the same mind to get me the same things.. i'm lovin' it!

so it's the final homerun till the new year. excited, scared, nervous, elation, flabbergasted, inapt, shocked, disappontment, frustration, breathtaken, betrayed, reassured.. i felt it all within this year. of course there's more, but this came right from the top of my head.

i have yet so much to achieve, so much to accomplish, so much to do. to say that i wish i could break myself into pieces to satisfy my needs, is an understatement.

as i enter 2009, with much anticipation as you may have guessed.. there were a couple of things which i had wished i could turn back time and correct. but i guess, what's done is done & it's time for me to move on... my resolutions for this year went mildly unfulfilled.

for one, truthfully, i miss my madgirls. i kept questioning in my head.. why are we moving further & further away from each other? is it because we're growing up too fast that our characters have started to clash?? i swear sometimes i feel like i don't even know you guys anymore. boys, men, work. who can i blame? i'll blame it on myself then cause i thought we would still be like we were back in mad school.

so please my loves, do make an effort to meet up. period.

that aside, 2009 should be damn sex-citing!! Gintama's back in SGH (haha) new round of HOs to attack(=D), batam trip on new year with my godfamily, pre-departure briefing, leaving 75, last minute shopping for oz, start packing my shits slowly, final hangouts with everyone i love and AM GOING TO MISS LIKE HELL.. it's Christmas eve & i have to head out to work in less than 2 hours... (but hey, i'm not complaining =D)

we're both parentless for 5 days. so can you smell the freedom???!!!
(gawd! im seriously gonna miss my irritatingly annoying bugger of a brother truckloads)

we ended up watching Twilight for the SECOND TIME oogling, again, over the Cullens.. oui. such redundant things we do to satisfy our burning desires *siiigh* and p.s. kakak, we actually concentrated more on the movie this time ok! i'm so proud!!

one of those days where mummy decided to look-see Marina Barrage and we got a feel of the place. gotta love the windy evenings =) we shall be back for more!!

yesterday was JM's 24th birthday of which we celebrated by eating Korean at downtown east and coffee-chilling at terminal 3 TCC afterward. (mouthwash, we call it) we exchanged Xmas presents and charades is becoming our favourite pastime. how i looooove bullying hunhun. heh.. ok JM, hurry up and send me those darn pictures quick!

oh before i forget, my dear Paman Mekeh finally got married, again =) congrats to my beloved uncle. what's past is history, yes unc? ok, you rock. period.
